Art Workshops at Smugglers' Notch
Smugglers' Notch Resort is located in the picturesque Green Mountains of northern Vermont and is the only resort in North America to Guarantee Family Fun! Artists in the Mountains: Take some time out from the Summer sun to dabble in the arts. Specially designed, hands-on workshops help you create your own art and craft projects to enjoy for years to come. Local artists provide instruction and all the materials needed to complete your project. Choose from offerings such as Country Stenciling, Dried Flower Arranging, Fabric Stenciling, Painting from Life, Sunset Landscape Painting, Antique Theorums, Walk & Watercolor, Painter's Palette, Sculpting Workshop, Creative Beading and more. Selected mornings, afternoons & evenings. From $40 per person, per session. The Painting Place: It's fun, it's the latest rage... You-Paint-It-Pottery from the Painting Place. Choose from a wide variety of "bisque" (unpainted pottery pieces) including plates, mugs, pet bowls, picture frames, ornaments & more. Let our staff assist you in bringing your creativity to the surface. Once fired in our kiln, your pottery will be food and dishwasher safe. Walk-in studio.
