Tennis School at Stratton Mountain Resort
The Gunterman Tennis School at Stratton Mountain embodies the unique, common sense teaching style of founder Kelly Gunterman, U.S.P.T.A. From collegiate competitor to teaching professional at the John Newcombe Tennis Center to founder of his own network of tennis schools, Gunterman has established a reputation for programs that produce better players. The Gunterman Tennis School and the Junior Tennis Camp are consistently rated among the top schools in North America. Gunterman and his staff of teaching professionals are adept at identifying weaknesses and building on strengths to take advantage of each player's skill. The result is an immersion in the game of tennis where the low student-to-pro ratio guarantees that participants emerge as better, more consistent tennis players. The carefully constructed curriculum includes a blend of instruction, drills, practice and playing time. Individualized attention, one-on-one sessions with the pros, and video stroke analysis accelerate skill development to help players master every facet of the game and achieve a more consistent level of shot-making. Adult Tennis School General Information: * 4:1 Student Ratio * Students grouped according to ability * Rates subject to change without notice MIDWEEK Packages include: 10 hours group instruction (2-day), 15 hours group instruction (5-day), 1/2 hour private instruction, video tape analysis, use of Stratton Sports Center, school t-shirt, complimentary court time. WEEKEND Packages include: 10 hours group instruction, video tape analysis, use of Stratton Sports Center, school t-shirt, complimentary court time. STRATTON JUNIOR TENNIS DAY CAMP The Stratton Junior Tennis Day Camp is entering its eighteenth successful year of operation at the Sports Center at Stratton Mountain. For the 2007 season the program has been refined even further to include more video tape, use of the ball machine and new drills to keep all of the students stimulated to learn while having a lot of fun. The Camp will feature: * 4-5 hours of group instruction each day * Free camp t-shirt * Box lunch each day of the program * Supervision all day * Use of the ball machine (5-day program) * Video tape analysis (5-day program) Additional activities include: swimming, hiking, soccer, volleyball and lots more FUN!
