Pinecrest Lake features a swimming area, accessible beaches, hking trails and a full marina. The Pinecrest Lake Marina offers a variety of boats including, kayaks, paddleboats, partyboats, fishing boats and as the water warms, sailboats. Each boat is available for rental. Fishing supplies and some tackle is available at the marina, other supplies are available at the Pinecrest Sport Shop.
To accomodate your varied needs there are deluxe motel rooms, rustic 2 and 3 bedroom housekeeping cabins, and spacious 2 and 3 bedroom townhouses with fireplaces. The units are near the lake, nestled amongst towering sugar pines.
Pinecrest Resort Center is home to the General Store, Sport Shop, Post Office and Steam Donkey Restaurant and Bar clustered together in an attractive building made of weathered old timers taken from the historic River Bridge that once spanned the Tuolumne River.
Pinecrest General Store is open 7 days a week, everyday of the year and offers a complete line of groceries, meats, wines and liquors for your convenience. The Sport Shop has equipment you may need for tennis, swimming, fishing, hiking, or whatever your sport.
The Steam Donkey Restaurant menu includes choice barbecued steaks and chicken as well as specialties like teriyaki Sirlion.Great decor' accompanied by excellent food.
