The Highest Tiki Bar in North America!
You may have heard of other Tiki Bars claiming to be the highest in North America, but they can't beat A-Basin's. The tiki bar will be located directly below the top of the Exhibition lift at a stunning elevation of 11,550'. If you know of a Tiki Bar in North America higher than that you'll have to clue A-Basin in, because no one has found it. Some runners up would be The Tiki Bar at the Dillon Marina, with an elevation of 9,017' and the recently claimed highest tiki bar in North America at the base of peak 8 in Breckenridge at Bergie Beach has an elevation of 9,600'. It seems to me like A-Basin has those guys beat by close to 2,000', which is a lot! There are ski areas in the East that have a summit elevation of 2,000'.
Come check out the Tiki Bar on weekends from 11am - 2pm and try the special daiquiris, piña coladas and margaritas. The Tiki Bar will be open Saturdays and Sundays through the rest of the season, but be careful the Tiki Bar is mobile. It may just move around on you!
