The Picturesque Purcell Mountains
Kimberley, one of Canada's highest cities, is a unique town in the scenic Purcell Mountains.
The Bavarian-themed downtown and the Platzl, a pedestrian mall, give this town a wonderful charm. Wandering minstrels and a giant cuckoo clock add the finishing touches to this European atmosphere.
For those interested in more of a quiet stroll, the Kimberley Community Gardens offer a bountiful array of colorful flowers.

A variety of outdoor activities are within reach, including hiking, biking, camping and fishing.
Kimberly's high-speed quad chairlift offers access to hiking, mountain biking, and a high-altitude BBQ all summer long. The alpine slide at the Kimberley Ski and Summer Resort promises a thrill a minute as you snake your way down the side of the mountain, surrounded by spectacular scenery all the way.
Local rafting companies offer memorable excursions down the rapids of the St. Mary's River, offering great views and thrills at the same time. If adrenaline isn't your thing, the river is also known for world-class trout fishing, so make sure to bring your flies!
Marysville Falls can be found close by with a wooden walkway leading to the spectacular 100 ft waterfall.
