Mt. Baldy
California
Mt. Baldy, only an hour from Los Angeles, is surrounded by national forest. The resort offers a variety of summertime recreational activities. The Summer Recreation Area and Mountain Bike Park has two chairlifts to take bicycle riders up the mountain. Races are held during the summer months as well. The park has several trails for hikers too, including trails to Devil's Backbone, the 3T's and the Sierra Club Ski Hut.  |
