McCall is a quaint resort town about two hours from Boise on the Payette River Scenic Route. Nestled in a beautiful mountain valley on the shores of Payette Lake, this town offers a variety of recreational opportunities.
Nearby rivers and lakes afford visitors with ample adventure. There are more than 300 lakes and 1,400 miles of streams in the region. White-water rafting, kayaking, water-skiing and canoeing can all be found. The Payette River is even host to the Whitewater Rodeo.
And Lake Cascade, 20 miles long and well stocked, quietly awaits fishermen. If you just want to relax, kick back on one of the white sand beaches on Payette Lake and drink in the views of the picturesque snowcapped mountains.
An extensive trail system provides hikers and mountain bikers with a wide range of choices. There are trails to suit all abilities, from easy glides to strenuous climbs.
