Visit Sawtooth National Forest
Fairfield is located in central Idaho, just south of Sawtooth National Forest.
The area offers excellent fishing opportunities. Mormon Reservoir is just west on Highway 20 and Magic Reservoir is to the east. Magic Reservoir is said to produce rainbow trout up to five pounds and brown trout up to 12 pounds.
The region also is perfect for other recreational activities, such as hiking and mountain biking. And, the Sawtooth Scenic Route is just east on State Highway 75.
