Famous Fountains
Famous for its fountains, Granby is located about 40 miles east of Montreal. Some of the most spectacular of these water basins include a 3,200-year-old Greek fountain and a first-century Roman fountain.

The area offers a host of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking and fishing. Yamaska Provincial Park and Mont-Orford Provincial Park are only a short distance away.
Yamaska offers windsurfing, boating fishing and swimming. There is also a variety of hiking trails to be explored.
Another popular spot is Mont-Orford Provincial Park. The site of several ski slopes, the mountain reaches 2,795 feet. Numerous trails are waiting to be explored. If you're looking to enjoy the water, try boating, fishing or swimming. The park is also a center for the arts, offering plays, films, art exhibits and performances by well-known artists at the Centre d' Arts Orford.
Lac Boivin, located right in Granby, is a popular spot for visitors and residents alike. Over 256 species feed at or inhabit Boivin Lake, making this beautiful spot a perfect place for ornithologists and bird lovers. Lac Boivin boasts 10 km of multi-purpose trail, for biking, walking or even rollar-blading, to accompany the numerous bird-observation spots and platforms.
This industrial city is also home to the Granby Zoo. Visitors can see more than 1,000 wild and exotic animals from five continents.
